It is, therefore, not clear on the events of McCandless in the previous years. However, it is possible to tell that McCandless worked at McDonalds, undefendable a bank account and lived in Bullhead for two months (Krakauer 29-34). In chapter 6 on Anza-Borrego, we underwrite McCandless setting up a ca mp along Salton Sea. He meets Franz who is addicted to alcohol. This is so going with the example of Chris McCandless that walked into the Alaska and disappeared only to be found four 9 months afterward (Krakauer 5). The concept of the material world has also been assessed through the work where the author explains how McCandless leaves his parents who gave him a good lifestyle. McCandless even gives out his salary, abandons his car and even burns his money.
